NC State University
NC State’s campus stretches across much of west Raleigh. If you’re familiar with the Memorial Belltower, it’s among its best-known landmarks. Carter-Finley Stadium and Lenovo Center are nearby for game days and major events.
Meredith College
This historic private college sits just west of downtown Raleigh. Its leafy campus is known for distinctive architecture and a strong arts presence.
William Peace University
This compact campus sits near Historic Oakwood, an easy walk from the hotel. Its location puts visiting families close to both the university and downtown.
Shaw University
Founded in 1865, Shaw is the South’s oldest historically Black university. Its downtown Raleigh campus is less than a mile from the hotel.
Campbell University School of Law
Campbell Law’s students and visitors are right in the middle of downtown Raleigh. The law school is located on Hillsborough Street, less than a mile from the hotel.
Saint Mary’s School
This historic Episcopal school for girls has called Raleigh home since 1842. Its campus along Hillsborough Street is a short drive from the hotel.

Football Weekends
Fall Saturdays attract plenty of fans to Raleigh. The tower is a convenient base for game weekends, with Carter-Finley Stadium and NC State’s campus both less than 10 minutes away.

About seven minutes by car (roughly three miles up Hillsborough Street) or a 28-minute walk. The corridor is direct — you’ll pass Meredith College and the Memorial Belltower on the way.
Shaw University is a nine-minute walk, William Peace University eleven, and Campbell Law’s downtown campus about nine. Meredith and Saint Mary’s are both under ten minutes by car.
In the tower — we’re ten minutes from Carter-Finley Stadium, with pre-game dining downtown and a rooftop view of the whole skyline when you get back. Fall Saturdays book early.
