Front Row, Then Home

Raleigh gives you plenty of reasons to plan a night around a show or game. Several downtown venues are within walking distance of the tower, and the city’s larger arenas are a short drive away. Afterward, head back to the 20th floor for a nightcap at High Ground Lounge.
The Lineup
Six Venues, One Downtown Stay
Some of Raleigh’s biggest entertainment venues are a short walk or drive from the tower. Here’s how far you’ll be from each one.
Red Hat Amphitheater
Catch an open-air show just a few blocks from the hotel. Walk back to the tower in minutes after the concert ends.
Martin Marietta Center
This downtown performing arts complex hosts Broadway productions, concerts, and other live performances throughout the year. Best of all, you can walk there.
Lenovo Center (formerly PNC Arena)
Home to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, Wolfpack basketball, and stadium concerts. Experience the game-day energy, then wind down with craft cocktails at High Ground Lounge in the heart of downtown.
Carter-Finley Stadium
NC State football takes over Carter-Finley on fall Saturdays. Stay downtown and make the short drive to the stadium for kickoff.
Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek
One of Raleigh’s largest outdoor concert venues welcomes major tours throughout the warmer months. Leave the car with valet at the hotel and take a rideshare to the show.
Reynolds Coliseum & Doak Field
NC State fans have two more venues just a short drive from the hotel. Head to Reynolds Coliseum for indoor sports or Doak Field for Wolfpack baseball.

High Ground Lounge · 20th Floor
The best seat in Raleigh is 20 floors above these venues. Start the night at High Ground Lounge over a cocktail and views across the city. When it’s time for the show, head out on foot or grab a quick ride. Your car can stay with valet until you’re back.

Make a Night of It
Between Sets & After the Final Note
The show may be the main event, but there’s plenty of night left on either side.
Late Bites Downtown
Keep the night going over a late dinner or something quick after the show. Glenwood South and the Warehouse District offer plenty of options nearby.
Cocktail Parlors & Patios
Make time for a drink before or after the event. Downtown bars and patios offer plenty to explore within walking distance of the hotel.
Leave the Driving to Someone Else
Walk to nearby venues or grab a rideshare when the show is farther out. Leave your car with valet until you’re ready for it again.
The Elevator Home
Once you’re back at the tower, your room is only an elevator ride away. Head upstairs whenever you decide to call it a night.

Distances, walks and the pre-show pour — book the room when you score the tickets, not after.
The tower is about a six-minute walk from Red Hat — the amphitheater sits just south of the convention center, and the whole route is straight down Salisbury Street. Concert nights, the skyline is your soundcheck.
Lenovo Center (formerly PNC Arena) is about eleven minutes by car, Carter-Finley Stadium ten. Both sit in the West Raleigh sports complex — most guests ride-share and leave the car with our valet.
High Ground Lounge on the 20th floor for the pre-show pour with the downtown skyline below — then Fayetteville Street and the Warehouse District are steps away for dinner and nightcaps.
The venues closest to us — Red Hat and the Martin Marietta Center — sit in the active downtown grid, and the walk back to the tower is short and well-trafficked on event nights. For the arena and Walnut Creek, ride-share is the move.
We do — major tour announcements and home-game weekends move rooms quickly. Book as soon as you have tickets; the tower tends to become the unofficial after-party.
